Notarial Services

There are many occasions where documents need to be notarized. When documents are notarized, the notary attests to the validity of your signature. Notarizations include witnessing your signature on documentation requiring notarization or certifications. Common documents to be notarized include:

  • statutory declarations

  • affidavits

  • notarizations/attestation of signatures

  • certified true copies

  • travel consent letters for minors

  • pension/proof of life declarations

  • invitation and sponsorship letters

  • unregistered vehicle declaration

  • proof of loss/insurance declarations

  • authentication of international documents

  • Hungarian documents

What is my next step if I need something notarized?

We ask that you call our office to make an appointment with the Notary who will attest to the validity of a signature on the document. You will be asked to present two pieces of valid identification, one of which must be government issued photo identification. We ask that you completely fill out the document prior to the appointment, however, please note that the person who is making the attestation must sign in the presence of the Notary.

Certified Copies

There may be companies or institutions who ask for original documents or to have a document ‘certified.’ This means that rather than send in the original document, you can have a certified true copy of it made. In order to do a certified true copy of the document, the Notary will need to see the original document in office and a copy of it will be made. The Notary will affix a stamp on the copy that will state it is a certified copy of the original document and seal the document.
